Wonderful place to discover! Yummy food and very friendly owner who'll make you feel right at home. The jebena coffee is also an experience every coffee lover should try- she roasts the beans fresh in Cafe and boils in a lovely clay pot for the most amazing taste!
Can't recommend it enough. There's a lovely welcome and tasty food cooked from the owner azmarat every time you come here. Such a gem. You can get a taste of traditional Eritrean food. I recommend this bistro to all.
Stopped in with family and we split some flavourful stews - beef and okra, a spicy chicken stew in a tomato sauce, and a lamb dish too. Served with a mountain of tangy injera and piping hot in generous portions. Yum! But the most memorable was how warm and friendly the service was. My favourite dish was actually a butter bean dish the restauranteur brought us to try. Felt a bit like visiting a friend of the family! It's very much a small local place though so it might be worth calling ahead if you want to stop in.
